In order to convert the LVB power supply to DC 750 V, the technical equipment for the Connewitz rectifier substation (GUW CON) needs to be replaced.

LVB has built its own substation building for this purpose.

The local construction supervision services for the building (re lot 1) and the technical equipment (re lots 2 and 3) must be provided for the new construction of the Connewitz rectifier substation.

After the planning services had been provided by SIGNON Deutschland GmbH up to the point the tender was issued, the execution is to be controlled and monitored within the framework of the local construction supervision services. Part of the construction supervision services for the building in this project also involve the manufacturer’s factory release for the modular construction systems as well as collaborating on the acceptance of the reinforcement for the floor slab to be built on site. The local construction supervision services for the building relate in this regard to service phase 8 (Object monitoring – Construction supervision) of Section 43 “Performance profile for engineering structures”. The local construction supervision services for the technical equipment relate in this regard to service phase 8 (Object monitoring – Construction supervision) of Section 53 “Performance profile for technical equipment”.

For this project, the planning for the new construction of the building and interiors as well as the Project Engineering for the technical equipment for retrofitting of the rectifier substation in accordance with HOAI were implemented for service phases 4-7 ahead of the construction supervision services.
