EULYNX

DB Netz AG Germany, 2015 - Ongoing

The EULYNX Consortium is formed from a number of different European railway infrastructure companies (RICs), such as DB Netz AG, SNCF and SBB, with the aim of harmonising interfaces within the framework of the system architecture defined by EULYNX. The resulting specifications form the basis for the respective national tenders for the individual RICs.

SIGNON Deutschland GmbH is supporting the harmonisation project here thanks to its expertise on model-based system specification and advancing of methodology to implement system requirements at the model level. The requirements of the RICs are implemented based on SysML and EULYNX’s own in-house modelling standards using the Windchill Modeler (PTC). SIGNON’s role here is to develop solutions to standardise the respective specific national requirements into harmonised requirements. The model-based requirements are merged into a specification using traditional text-based requirements in DOORS.

Baseline 3 of the EULYNX documents were able to be published in 2018. This publication has already been used as the basis for tenders for some RICs. The documents are continuously being developed and also expanded in terms of their scope by new RICs. Release 1 of the fourth baseline, which is due to be expanded in the second release (scheduled for 2023), was able to be published in May 2022.
