We work on behalf of DB Netz AG to develop a tool to plan train number (TN) signalling systems, route setting (RS) systems and train tracking (TT) buses based on PlanPro. PlanPro is an interface format enabling continuous data usage in the control and safety technology system. Electronic signal box plans are imported as a PlanPro XML file to begin with for TN/RS planning. Data regarding track topology and signals, among others, are read and graphically illustrated from the data model. The TN and RS planning can then take place based on these data, and once the TT bus planning data have been imported.
